Poker Night + Belated Happy Bday Uzyn and Ridz

Just last Saturday, Uzyn decided to host a small gathering for Poker + Wii (yes MY WII!!!) + Beer tasting (essentially drinking all kinds of beer). Ah yes, 3 of my favourite activites all rolled up into 1 night.
Those who were there: Uzyn, Sekling, U-fong (Uzyn’s lil bro), NTT, Ridz, Kahwee (Notice a widgeous thing going on?), Daphne, Adam, Hendri and Guorong (Sekling’s colleague).
Beers in attendance: Ar-weiser by me, Chimay by NTT, Hoegaarden, Stellar, Tuborg, Bavarian and probably a few more which i never noticed.
The night started out pretty normal, eat… talk… play wii… There was plenty of food thanks to pizza hut screwing up, so we had alot more pizza then ordered (next time I recommend Oshi Pizza, so much nicer )
Wii boxing was probably the most fun to watch as its was just super funny to watch everyone try to do boxing. My arms were really aching just after 1 game, guess i need to hit the gym more.

Of course who can forget the beer tasting… everyone was sampling the wide variety of beer that was available. It was an evil ploy to get everyone high and drunk before poker. Shall leave the comments about Ar-weiser to the others.

Finally, the real purpose of the night… Uzyn brought out the poker set. We had quite a few who were new to poker, NTT who was playing with the guidebook (and winning whenever he turned to a particular page about “no pairs”), Daphne who played rather recklessly despite claims that she was super risk adversed (She did more all-ins the me! Then again I did 0). It was after this poker session that we realised how Uzyn pays the rent (kidding!) It was a really fun poker session with NTT proclaiming the power of the book, people trying to convince others to call or fold and Uzyn always betting high to “make the game interesting”.

I guess to top off the night we had the belated B-day cake for Uzyn and Ridz. So yes, we made them hold hands romentically to cut the heart-shape cake (really really lomentic)

Wah so lomantic. I didn’t think about that when we were cutting the cake.
How’s your online poker doing? Must be winning quite steadily eh. Let’s do the poker thing again some day.
BTW, Arweiser is the best beer I’ve ever had. No kidding! I love it. Had quite a lot of it that night.
Oh yeah, gotta return you your Wii soon.
